Discover Nature Hike with Wild Roots!

Join us for a guided hike around the nature center as we explore the plants and animals native to our area. We’ll search for wildlife and look for clues—such as tracks, nests, and other signs—left behind by animals we may not see.

During our hike, we’ll visit the forest, pond, prairie, and creek. Along the way, we’ll stop to use sensory and science tools while learning about the unique habitats around us.

Children will be divided into two age-based groups to ensure the activities and information are engaging and age-appropriate for everyone.

This 90-minute program will take place outdoors. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
