FAQs
Q: |
Are you religiously affiliated? |
A: |
No, we are a secular group that welcomes diversity in belief systems!
|
Q: |
What does "Sudbury-inspired" mean? |
A: |
For us it means creating an environment where kids and parents have equal contribution to shaping the evolution of our group. It also means that agreed upon rules are compassionately enforced by the group, rather than by one authority figure. While applying the concept to a homeschool co-op is a bit different than to a school, this quick video should help clarify! |
Q: |
Can I drop my kids off? |
A: |
We're not a drop-off group, however we understand that schedules don't always mesh, and things come up. We just ask that if you can't make it to the meet-up, that you have made arrangements with another adult to be responsible for your kids while you're gone. |
Q: |
Are there age limits? |
A: |
Nope! Any and all homeschoolers are welcome - pre-homeschoolers, too!
